With such diverse hands-on experiences, your calling to help others is sure to be fulfilled at Capital.
Capital’s nursing program offers both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing within a total of four programs. We have two pre-licensure programs: one for individuals seeking a traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and another accelerated program — Capital Nursing Accelerated Program — for working professionals who have degrees in other fields, but who now want a career in nursing. We also offer a post licensure program for students pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing.
Whichever path you choose, you will graduate prepared to complete licensure requirements for your profession. You will have developed the critical thinking skills and professional judgment to reach informed decisions on patient care. You’ll possess the confidence and experience to begin making a positive impact on the lives you touch. And you’ll be recruited. By hospitals and healthcare systems eager to hire nurses with bachelor’s degrees. By businesses and other large employers that invest in occupational health nurses to maintain a healthy and productive workforce. By community and home-based care providers who serve populations with special health needs. And even by the armed forces, who commission our graduates as officers.
