  • Medical Services

    Capital University students enrolled in current semester coursework may seek medical appointments at no cost. We test for and treat a variety of illnesses including, but not limited to, strep throat, bronchitis, influenza, ear infections, skin rashes, and urinary tract infections.

    • Gynecological exams and birth control
    • Physicals 
    • Blood draws
    • Allergy shots
    • On-site testing, including sexually transmitted infections, strep throat, pregnancy, influenza, urinalysis and TB, is available at a nominal fee and will be charged to your student account.  Students are responsible for any charges incurred for off-site testing (i.e., laboratory fees) and prescription costs.  We will assist students in supplying heath insurance information to off-site providers at their request.  All prescriptions will be filled at a local pharmacy.

    Medical Walk-in and Appointment Hours - Summer
    A Certified Nurse Practitioner is available on Monday and Wednesday, (9:00 am-1 pm 

    Medical Walk-in Hours - Academic Year 
    Monday-Friday, 9:00-11:30 am
    We are only able to accommodate a certain number of students during walk-in hours; therefore, you may be asked to schedule an afternoon appointment.

    Medical Appointment Hours - Academic Year 
    Monday, 1-6 pm
    Tuesday-Thursday, 1-4:30 pm
    Friday, 1-3 pm

    Hours may change, depending on holidays, school breaks or demand for services.
